Apple cinnamon oatmeal

Assembe the night before to have a quick breakfast in the morning

1 apple, peeled, cored and sliced

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup steel cut oats

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

2 cups water

Place all ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Turn down the heat to a slow simmer stirring occasionally until consistency is thick and water is absorbed about 40-45 minutes. Serve with your favorite nut milk.
